Visually Handicapped Conquered Mt Kinabalu
Mr Rehievana Tabisan, a visually handicapped person and representing Taman Cahaya, successfully climbed to the top of Mt Kinabalu together with other disabled persons in conjunction with the Mountain Climbing Challenge organised by the Sabah Ministry of Youth & Sports on 8th – 12th January 2015 for the disabled persons in Sabah.

The Sabah Society For The Blind – Sandakan Branch have on 24th November 2014 launched its annual Sabah state wide postal appeal for public donations to raise training funds for its Taman Cahaya Training Centre For The Blind at Rancangan Sungai Manila, Sandakan. The training centre need about RM230,000.00 per year to continue providing training
